DINING OUT - JOHNNYS RED HOTS (2/18/26)
WINTER CONCERT - 2/26/26
We are ONE MONTH away from our WINTER CONCERT. The concert is on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26th, at 7PM in the PNHS Auditorium. Here are some more details:
CONCERT BAND/9th GRADE PERCUSSION-Pre-Concert Rehearsal on Tuesday, 2/24, from 2:20-3pm in the Band Room. CALL TIME for the concert on Thursday is 6pm, on stage.
SYMPHONIC BAND CALL TIME for the concert is 6pm in the BAND ROOM.
WIND ENSEMBLE CALL TIME is at 6:15pm.
PERCUSSION ENSEMBLES may have an earlier call time, which is TBD.
CONCERT WEAR:
This attire will be used for all concert performances. Students are responsible for supplying their concert attire:
ALL Black Dress Pants/Slacks (No leggings or jeans), Black Dress Belt
ALL Black Skirts or Dress are okay, but should have coverage for a formal setting. Length of the skirt needs to be knee length or longer.
ALL Black Dress Top (Long sleeve button up dress shirt with collar or long sleeve blouse), Solid black long tie is optional
ALL Black Dress Shoes – Male and Female Styles vary (No flip flops or sandals), Marching Band shoes are okay to wear-Shoes must be flats, no high heels or platforms
ALL Black Dress Socks (Calf High), Female style shoes may not require socks
JAZZ CAFE 2/24/26
On Tuesday, February 24, our Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Jazz Cafe, hosted by Ira Jones Middle School. This concert will feature the jazz bands from Heritage Grove and Ira Jones middle schools, as well as our own ensemble.
The music begins at 6:00 PM in the Ira Jones cafeteria, with a call time of 5:30 PM for Plainfield North Jazz Ensemble members. While formal "concert black" attire is not required, students are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. Admission is free, refreshments will be provided, and everyone is welcome to attend!
SYMPHONIC BAND AT PLAINFIELD INVITATIONAL BAND FESTIVAL 2/27/26
Our Symphonic Band is performing at the Plainfield Concert Band Festival on Friday, February 27th, in the evening. We will provide an itinerary this week.

PNHS MUSICAL - HADESTOWN
Tickets for our production of Hadestown go are on sale at pnhschoirs.ludus.com.
Hadestown is a modern, folk-jazz retelling of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Guided by the narrator Hermes, the story follows two young lovers navigating poverty, hope, and sacrifice, while also exploring the powerful and complicated relationship between Hades and Persephone, rulers of the Underworld. With its rich music, stunning storytelling, and themes of love, resilience, and social justice, Hadestown is a moving and unforgettable theatrical experience.
MARCH BAND BOOSTER MEETING (3/11/26)
PARENTS: Join us for our monthly Booster Meeting on Wednesday, March 11th, at 7pm in the Band Room. Enter through Door P.
Our booster organization exists to support and enrich the school's band program by providing financial assistance, volunteer support, and advocating for the band. They help bridge the gap between what the school budget provides and the needs of the band, ensuring students have access to resources, opportunities, and a positive experience.

With the new semester, here is a list of our performance dates for the rest of the year. We will post separately, rehearsals, sectionals, and such. You can always reference the Google Calendar for ALL DATES.

BAND TRIP 2026-2027
Due to the uncertainty of families dealing with boundary changes, we have decided to move our trip to Spring Break of 2027. We will travel to Orlando, FL. Dates will be between March 30th and April 6th.
Details will be distributed in a trip meeting on April 22nd at 7pm. (This is following the band info night)
