Summer Notes 6/1/26
MARCHING BAND - THIS WEEK
We rehearse with EVERYONE from now on. TUESDAY and THURSDAY 6-9pm
Things to bring for your SUCCESS:
Your instrument/equipment in working condition w/ all necessary accessories
Reeds/Ligatures
Neckstraps
Valve Oil
Other items your instrument may require
1-inch binder and sheet protectors for music - at least 10 protectors
Half gallon or gallon insulated water jug w/ cold water – no sharing
Label w/ your name to avoid losing
Insect repellent for evenings
Sunglasses for the low evening sun
Appropriate attire for the weather - t-shirt, sweatshirt for cool evenings
Athletic shorts – the lighter the better
Socks and solid tie shoes, firmly tied onto your feet. No sandals or slip-on’s. Best shoes are running shoes or something with a flexible sole that will help you march correctly. Do not wear Crocs, sandals, skateboarding shoes, Converse, dress shoes, or other similar footwear.
Pencil with eraser.

Pictures will take place the afternoon of July 14th before band rehearsal. Exact time & details to come soon. BAND UNIFORM FITTINGS
Uniform fittings will take place on July 28th, 29th & 30th. Sign Up Genius will be sent out soon. If you will be out of town those dates, please contact Lisa Witek via email to schedule a makeup fitting: lisa.witek@pnhsbands.org
SHOREWOOD CROSSROADS FEST VOLUNTEERS
The PNHS Band Boosters and the Plainfield Marching Arts Boosters (PMAB) are joining forces for the 2nd year on an EASY fundraising event.
We're looking for volunteers to serve as parking lot attendants at the Shorewood Crossroads Festival on July 31st, August 1st & August 2nd. In exchange, PNHS Band Boosters & PMAB will each earn $1,000 (based on equal participation).
