MARCHING BAND THIS WEEK

EVERYONE is back together THIS WEEK!! Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday from 6-9pm.

REMINDER: Next Payment is due on THURSDAY, 7/16.

PRE-BAND CAMP PARENT/STUDENT MEETING on JULY 23rd at 8:30pm (Towards the end of rehearsal) This will cover some important information as we get set for the week of August 3rd.

Things to bring for your SUCCESS:

Your instrument/equipment in working condition w/ all necessary accessories
- Reeds/Ligatures
- Neckstraps
- Valve Oil
- Other items your instrument may require
1-inch binder and sheet protectors for music - at least 10 protectors
Half gallon or gallon insulated water jug w/ cold water – no sharing
- Label w/ your name to avoid losing
Insect repellent for evenings
Sunglasses for the low evening sun
Appropriate attire for the weather - t-shirt, sweatshirt for cool evenings
Athletic shorts – the lighter the better
Socks and solid tie shoes, firmly tied onto your feet. No sandals or slip-on’s. Best shoes are running shoes or something with a flexible sole that will help you march correctly. Do not wear Crocs, sandals, skateboarding shoes, Converse, dress shoes, or other similar footwear.
Pencil with eraser.

Fittings AND Pictures are Tuesday, 7/14!

Please arrive in the following times based on last name:

3:00-3:30 Last Name A-Mi

3:30-4:00 Last Name Mo-Z

Arrive NO LATER than 4:00!Expect to be there 60-90 minutes total for fitting & picture.

Pictures taken between 3:30-5:00, as your fittings are done.

***IMPORTANT to attend so we can get banners done for Senior Night.***

SHOREWOOD CROSSROADS FEST VOLUNTEERS (LAST CALL)

THIS IS THE LAST CALL FOR THIS EVENT OR WE ARE PASSING IT ON TO ANOTHER SCHOOL! We're looking for volunteers to serve as parking lot attendants at the Shorewood Crossroads Festival on July 31st, August 1st & August 2nd. In exchange. This can help us net almost $3000 if we can fill the spots.

MARCHING BAND PAYMENTS

An email was sent regarding PAYMENTS. Please read through the information and contact boosters@pnhsbands.org with any questions. Next payment is due JULY 16TH!

BAND UNIFORM FITTINGS

AUGUST PARENT BOOSTER MEETING

Join us on Wednesday, August 12th, at 7pm for our monthly meeting that helps determine funding, volunteerism, and advocacy for our students. Enter through Door P.

WEBSITE HELP (PARENTS)

BAND PARENTS: We’re looking for a volunteer to help administer our Google Workspace environment. Our current admin will be graduating out next year, so we’d like to have someone onboard this year for a smooth transition. If you have experience with Google Workspace administration and are interested in helping, please reach out to neil.witek@pnhsbands.org.

MUSIC TRIP 2026-2027

NO NEW UPDATE! THE ENROLLMENT CAPACITY IS CURRENTLY FULL! We’ll be working to fit more people onto the trip depending on chaperone ratio and up to date payments, stay tuned.
